HOW WE GOT OUR START

Teh Bendera was established in 1978 in the small town of Pematang Siantar in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Starting out as a small humble local brand, it is now a household name in Sumatra, being well known for its fragrant blend.

All of our tea are sourced only from Indonesia and we pride ourselves in supporting the local tea plantations. We are rooted in the belief of preserving the rich heritage of Indonesian tea for generations to come

It is our philosophy that quality stands above everything else and therefore every batch of our tea is carefully blended and taste-tested before it reaches your cup.
